Piston Ring Treatments Support
In many engines, heavy carbon deposits can restrict piston ring movement. Carbon build-up around the piston ring grooves may cause rings to become partially stuck, carbon-shrunk or restricted inside the piston area. This can affect compression, oil control, smoke level, pickup, torque and engine smoothness.
Bird Renewables Engine Carbon Flushing Machine includes a special Piston Ring Treatment Support option.
This process uses the same controlled suction and blowing pressure-vacuum method with inventor-developed treatment chemicals to help loosen carbon around the piston ring area and support better ring movement and
seating.
The result can be checked through borescope inspection and engine performance observation after service.
